Abel's Tower

NRK P2, Echo (radio guest, in Norwegian)

We have stopped writing by hand – the computer has taken over everything from correspondence to exams. But has this had an effect on the brain? Could it affect the way we think and what we think or does it make us more able to think complicated thoughts?

Video games and computers and the brain are the major themes of Abel's Tower today. Is it for example possible to make prostheses for the brain, that may replace broken parts? Can computer games be used in the rehabilitation of the brain injured?

This week's panel :

  • Neuroscientist Gaute Einevoll
  • Logician Roger Antonsen
  • Special ergotherapeut Truls Johansen
